The World Premier of Interactive Opera: Bizet’s Carmen will take place on September 28, 2008 at 4pm at the Herb
Skolnick Center
in Pompano Beach. Interactive Opera is a chance for the
audience to participate in an opera, without any rehearsal time. A cast of one will be supplemented by
audience members who wish to act, sing, dance, play musical instruments or take
speaking roles. Music, dialogue and

Ms Meeroff performs a solo recital at Palm Aire in Pompano
Beach. The
program is called: Opera’s Greatest Hits and includes music from La Traviata,
Carmen and the Barber of Seville.

Professor Meeroff performs tango music for the Multicultural Festival at
Broward Community College North Campus.

Professor Meeroff is guest lecturer at wRites of Spring Lecture Series
at Broward Community
College, North Campus. The lecture recital is called Hearing Green:
Music Inspired by Nature and is a program of classical music inspired by
nature. Ms. Meeroff is joined by three
of her most accomplished middle school and high school students.

Meeroff peforms the second recital in the
series at St Nicholas Episcopal Church.
This recital, called the Top Twenty Piano Classics, presents twenty of
the top one hundred greatest piano pieces in the repertoire. She is joined by Steve Slowick.
